We are an early learning and care facility that serves children ages six weeks to thirteen years old. We provide a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment for all children with caring and knowledgeable staff.
We are excited you have chosen our program for your child(ren). We look forward to providing a safe, clean, and stimulating early leaning environment for your child. We are proud of the contribution that each member of our staff makes to provide young children the opportunity to grow in mind, body, and spirit. At Taylor, we wish to exemplify our love for children in our daily lives by:
We use newsletters, daily written notices for infants, and the Procare App to communicate with families.
Our teachers plan activities that align with our curriculum. All daily activities are fun, exciting, and kid approved.
Due to COVID 19, we ensure rigorous cleaning standards are maintained in every space throughout the center, to keep everyone healthy. Since washing hands, wearing a mask over your nose and mouth, and vaccinations, are the most effective defense against the spread of COVID, all are required to wash hands and wear a mask upon entering the center. Vaccinations are strongly encouraged for all employees and families.
We use Creative Curriculum. This curriculum addresses all domains of children’s development; focuses on building relationships between children and their teachers and between teachers and families; views children as active participants in the learning process; is sensitive to the developmental capabilities and backgrounds of individual children; views play as the foundation of concurrent and future learning; and views the teacher as an active participant in building relationships, setting up the environment, and using a variety of teaching roles and strategies.
At TALYA we believe that children should have outdoor play daily, as long as weather is permitting. Parents are required to provide appropriate clothing for this activity. Especially, during the winter months.
TALYA is licensed to operate in the State of Ohio by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
It is our philosophy that the development of the individual as a whole being is attained through the enrichment of the social, intellectual aspects of his/her nature. Our philosophy comes from the celebration of life through love, respect, caring, and sharing. Thus, the staff at Taylor Act of Learning (Yeldaim) Academy works to promote the development of a healthy, inquisitive, and self-confident child that is prepared for the social and mental requirements of education and is nurtured in a warm, supportive, and secure environment in which love for others is taught and shared
